Our son LOVES it!
After our 2 year old son learned to climb out of his crib, he wouldn't sleep in his room at all...until we bought him the sports car bed! The side's are high enough that he can't roll out and he just thought it was so great he had to tell everyone about his new sports car bed. There are a few things to keep in mind when buying it though. One is the size. It is a large twin car bed so make sure you have room for it. The second is that there is about 1 1/2" space between the mattress and the bed (for the comforter to fit) and I have found quite a few toys (and other items) down there. We did have a little problem with one wheel staying on and I contacted Little Tikes. They were great and shipped a replacement part to us that came a lot quicker than I thought. We love this twin car bed.

2 year old - loves his twin car bed
We bought the sports car bed for my son when he was 20 months old and I was pregnant with child #2. He loves it! He loves anything with wheels so we had no trouble moving him from the crib in the nursery to his big boy room complete with the sports car bed (and truck wallpaper border of course!). What I like most about the twin car bed is that the sides are higher than the mattress so that he can't roll out and we don't need a railing. If you feel that you need more of a side I have even seen people take out the box springs so that the mattress is enclosed on all sides. And of course, just like the rest of Little Tikes products, it is very durable. Well worth the money!

Excellent buy
We bought the sports car bed for our son when he was two. We decided to purchase it due to the sides being a bit higher towards the top. He loved it! He is now 3 1/2 and whenever he and his friends are in his room playing they are always pretending to drive it. It is super durable! He also loves to "stash" his hotwheels cars in the sides so he can play with them when he goes to bed. :) I wish that they made a pink version....I want a sports car bed for our daughter!...(Actually, you can now get it in Pink)

Sports Car Bed - Zoom zoom
We bought this bed for our older son when he was 26 months old and demanding to get out of the crib. We tried a toddler bed against the wall for two weeks but he kept waking up in his sleep and either a) hitting his head on the wall or b) falling out of bed. When we set up the sports car bed, our son was momentarily disappointed at that time that it would not really go, but accepted "only pretend" as a good answer. The high sides are great on the twin car bed, he could easily climb in and slide out from the foot. Now at 5 1/2 he still loves his sports car bed. His 3 yr old brother wants it too. Be sure to measure your room -- this twin car bed is long.

One of our friends gave my son this bed when he was 2. He's 4 now and he loves it; so do all the kids that stay over someone always wants to sleep in the "sports car bed"

Little Tikes Sports Car Bed
My son just loves this bed. I never had to worry about him falling out of it because the twin car bed has lots of room. It is extremely sturdy and after 5 years is still in mint condition. I would recommend this to anyone with a small child.

Great bed
We bought this bed for our 21 month old, when he started climbing out of his crib. He was so happy when he seen it and was excited to go to sleep, its only been two nights that he has had it and I only had to stay with him for 15 min the 1st night then he went all by his self, he calls it his car bed. The only thing is that it is hard to put the screws in, we had a hard time with it and the wheel came off, we called little tikes and they fed ex'ed us with a new one. Love the sports car bed.

GREAT BED!!!
My 2 year old LOVES the sports car bed. We had a hard time getting him to sleep in his toddler bed that transitioned from his crib. We bought a twin car bed hoping that he would love it and want to sleep in it. And IT WORKED! The colors are bright and VIBRANT! He loves his "Blue Sports Car bed" and asks to sleep in it every night! We couldn't be more thrilled. The twin car bed is a hit.

This twin car bed is worth your money!
I would recommend this product to anyone that has the money, and wants to get rid of the crib. I bought it for my 14 month old son, he loves it! The twin car bed will last him a lot longer than a toddler bed would. It was easy to set up, I did it on my own with the help of a 10 year old. I certainly would buy another little tikes car bed!

Extremely Frustrating Assembly
For the price, I was quite disappointed with the sports car bed we received. The hardware did not properly attach the bed sides to the ends. Also, the bolt holes had been installed incorrectly. The decorative wheels are flimsy, and with a good pull will come off and are not reattachable. The photo gave me the impression that the twin car bed would be made from smooth material and resemble a "real" car, but instead it is constructed of the "pebbled" plastic common to most Little Tikes outdoor toys. But my son has seen it, and he loved it none the less. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a twin car bed.
